Persepolis
Tonight I saw "Persepolis", an animated movie from France.
The abstract is quite simple to write: run to see this movie! :)
The story is about (the author) Marjane Satrapi and her life, from the childhood in Iran during the 70's until the "exil" in Austria. I don't want to reveal too much about the story... I hate spoilers.
I saw the movie in french with english subtitles and for me, as Italian, it was really enjoyable.
Some of the drawing and "effects" remember me The Wall and the way the author tells her story brings me to "Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain".
Really, really great. I think I'm going in the next days at the cinema to watch it dubbed in Italian.
Persepolis has a blog in italian and a website in english.
