Hi, I'm orangeek.
I was born in Perugia in 1980. I graduated in Economics in 2005 at the Universita' degli Studi di Firenze (Florence, Italy), after spending one year in Germany at the LMU (Ludwig Maximilians Universitaet in Muenchen).
Actually I work as Information Technology Auditor (IT Auditor, Business Assurance, Control Assurance) at $huge_accounting_and_IT_services_company in Florence. My goal for the next years is to move in the US: I'd like to spend a couple of years in San Francisco, California. I already asked my bosses for that: hope just I'm going to realize it.
Before the $huge_accounting_and_IT_services_company, during my study, I co-created with some friends an amazing design studio, Extraneo. ki55.org is the last spin-off created from Extraneo.
'orangeek' as my nick was born when I started this blog, in December 2004, during a lesson in "Monetary Economics". In the same days I created - from scratch and hand drawing - the logo you see in the header of the blog (yep, that nerd with duct tape on the glasses).
I don't really know if I'm a geek; I would prefer to call myself "smanettone", as it's more likely I could understand the exact word's meaning. :)
What else?
I'm a motorcycles-maniac: in my early days I drove an Aprilia Pegaso
650 (an enduro bike). Then I loved my Kawasaki Z750 (naked street bike)
and, just in these days, I'm going to buy a Ducati Hypermotard (mmmh,
actually I can describe this bike as an 1100-hooligan-badass-bike).
That's enough. Browse my blog for more info or contact me at
